I didn’t expect it to be this good
I’m a professional and have known UA since the very beginning. This tool is really great, easy to use, very flexible, and sounds fantastic. There are three things that could be improved:
1. The name “Vocal Suite” doesn’t quite fit, as it actually works great for everything!
2. The de-esser is the only thing that doesn’t sound good to me.
3. Apparently, not all controls are captured in automation (at least for me in Cubase); it seems there are still a few bugs. Otherwise, it’s top-notch!

I'm very happy with the software purchase. The quaily of the plugins are extraordinary and worth every penny. I only wish that you could use the plugins offline without being connected to the internet but overrall I'm happy.

Skimped on the native version
Great plugin. I was excited when the native version came out, only to realize it’s not quite the same plugin. No tape delay or controls for amount of crosstalk, wow and flutter. Plus you can’t copy presets from the non-native version to the native version. And they don’t have the same preset library! UAD-2 DSP version is superior, unfortunately. Come on UAD….

Best Digital Plexi Out There
Long Time Helix user here. I've never been able to get a good Pelix tone from Helix. The Lion is tone perfection right out of the box. I can finally get all the brilliant Plexi tones I've always wanted.

Streamlined work flow/ great results without getting lost in too many choices
I'm a serious, ( some would disagree), hobbyist that has switched to UAD LUNA and a lot of their plugins... I love some of these newer plugins that are quick and easy to use...I don't mind creating busses for effects and automating stuff, but since Im mostly doing brit invasion sounding stuff I don't need to be crippled with too many choices....I must say, the ducking feature is going to be a real time saver.....I get the feeling that veteren pro's might not like this, but in my case this plug in keeps me moving before ear fatigue and analysis of paralysis sets in..... My guess is that this will go on sale pretty quick since not many reviews....its pricy, but, this is my main hobby...lol

best amp simulation i've ever heard
Works very nice in combination with my Volt 476 and Luna.
Can't hear any lag or delay with my signal chain, very natural sounding.

It’s a Fairchild and it’s amazing
The Fairchild is a great compressor, legendary and this sounds like the hardware. If you aren’t familiar it will take a learning curve but being able to compress the center different from the side which is what made this thing famous is amazing, the tone and what it does to your music is worth it…..learn it use it and get it if you want great results

Great sounding compressor
What can I say? This thing is legendary, I can say I will never get a chance to touch the real thing, but this thing sounds great, you want a subtle transparent Comp……then buy this, works great on a stereo bus but also find it works great as a compressor to glue together busses, you won’t go wrong with this emulation of a legendary piece of equipment and like most of universals stuff, it’s probably very close to the same as the original piece

If you need the API sound then this is it
Absolutely love this channel strip, I bought it mostly to use with drum overheads but find myself using it on other tracks as well. The gate is very musical and the compression is really nice to color the sound in the API way. Really brought some of my mixes to life………rule of thumb, try it out, if you know what it does try it out and you will buy it. It does what it does perfectly and it’s a tool that will ease your life and quicken mixing speed

Better than SSL
In comparison with the SSL Plugin version, very good. How can a 3rd party emulation be better than the Original manufacturer? I cancelled my SSL subscription finally because all the Plugins sounds so bad, and, since I listen to the UA version, yes nearly perfect.
